How to add your KiCad design to Fuison 360

A simple guide to open KiCad designs in Fusion 360. I use it a lot, to have the outline of my keyboard in Fusion 360 to generate (transport) cases for them.

  1. Generate a STEP file from the KiCad design STEP file
  2. Open file in Fusion 360 Open step file
  3. Open from Computer Open from computer
  4. Open the STEP file Open the STEP file
  5. Result Result
